BRINNON VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

HELP!! The Brinnon Community Center needs volunteers to man the office for the afternoon shift, 1P.M. till 5P.M., or what ever time one can spare.

The good news is we are able to hire another Title V person.

OLYMPIC FOREST VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Our National Forest trails and campgrounds have been badly damaged with washouts and blowdowns and reliy heavily upon the exceptional work of volunteers.  Estimated repairs run into the millions, otherwise.  We encourage anyone interested to contact one of the groups with whom the Forest partners for these activities:

PLEASANT HARBOR MARINA HIRING

The Statesman Corporation is currently looking for part time help in the deli, front counter, janitorial and dock attendant positions. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor for future full time employment for our local workers, which can lead to a full benefits package.

These entry level jobs offer hourly rates varying from minimum wage up to $15 per hour. They are also looking for retired folks who might want to mentor and train younger workers.

QUILCENE FAIR & PARADE NEEDS YOUR HELP

 

The Quilcene Fair Board is looking for 8 volunteers to help with the Fair Information and Raffle Booth on Saturday, September 20th, 2008. Each volunteer is needed for a one hour shift to welcome and answer visitors' questions. The Board will organize a meeting with the 8 volunteers shortly before Fair Day to inform you of the day's events and happenings. Looking For Work

Megan Perry, one of our 4-H Horse Project Seniors, is looking for some horse related part time work. She is happy to clean stalls, groom, exercise, etc. Megan is 18 years of age, reliable and has her own transportation. Please contact her if you need some part time help.
