Two classically-trained sopranos present an evening of early classic music, American folk, and original songs. Travel through time with folk music from centuries ago, our recent past, and folk music of the present with these two fabulous multi-genre musicians.
Ailisa is Grammy nominated semifinalist and National Board-Certified music educator. She is the featured soprano soloist on numerous video game soundtracks including “Left 4 Dead”, “Team Fortress 2”, and “Praey for the Gods” (her personal favorite), and has performed with ensembles such as The Seattle Symphony, Philharmonia Northwest, Great Bend Chamber Orchestra, Opus 7, Choral Arts Northwest, and was a cantor at St. James Cathedral in Seattle for many years.
Natalie recently finished recording her first solo album of baroque music with harpsichordist Jillon Stoppels Dupree. frequently appears with beloved east coast based Celtic band, “The Beggar Boys”, enjoys performing regularly in a local Celtic trio, and was founder and co-artistic director the Classical Music Nights at Cafe Racer concert series. As a chorister, in 2013 she rocked it hard singing with the Rolling Stones!
