Jefferson Land Trust Work Party at Valley View Forest

On Tuesday, January 24, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, join us for a planting event at Valley View Forest in Chimacum. All are welcome! We'll bring the shovels and the trees, if you'll bring yourself and an enthusiasm for planting young seedlings.To kick off this planting season, we'll be welcoming a few new fir seedlings to the sunny openings within the harvest area. These seedlings will add species and age diversity and drought resistance to our forest.
Directions: From Chimacum Corner, travel 1.7 miles south on Center Road to the gravel driveway on the left (opposite mailbox for 1720 Center Road, and approximately 300 feet south of Short’s Family Farm entrance). This leads to Valley View Forest's public parking area and trailhead.
