Calling all who love forests, streams, and salmon! This month we will be preparing for salmon season for all by increasing the accessibility of the covered shelter with a new ramp and gravel path to the parking area. Please help us make this special place even more welcoming. Come ready to help bucket, wheelbarrow, rake, and shovel gravel (extra wheelbarrows welcome but not required!)
This is the first of two work parties focusing on this project this month. The second monthly Illahee work party will be Tuesday, August 22 from 10 am - 1 pm.
Directions: From Hwy 19 turn onto Prospect Ave towards Kala Point. Take Creekview Lane (the first road to the right) and follow until the end. Please drive slowly to respect the neighbors. Park at the split-rail fence and walk on in!
