Calling photographers! Join Jefferson Land Trust as they host members of the League of Extraordinary Observers (LEO), a group of accomplished local nature photographers, as they introduce you to the birds who call Chimacum Ridge home. Whether accomplished bird photographer or novice, you'll get an amazing experience to learn more about birds, bird photography, and the wonderful place called Chimacum Ridge.

This class consists of two sessions. Session 1 will take place Thursday, May 11 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Finnriver Farm & Cidery and will take you through some of the technical elements of bird photography, how to approach it in the field, and some of the species you might view while on Chimacum Ridge. This session is free, and limited to 40 participants.
Session 2 takes place Saturday, May 13 from 6:00 - 10:30 am on Chimacum Ridge. There, LEO members and local bird experts will assist with technical aspects of your equipment and take you to various places on the Ridge that are attractive locations for a variety species. This class is $35/participant, and limited to 15 people.
You must attend Session 1 in order to attend Session 2; scholarships are also available.
