Karen Coulter, founder of the Blue Mountains Biodiversity Project, has been fighting to defend and restore forests on public lands for over 30 years. She advocates across five national forests in Oregon for old growth and ecological diversity and integrity, and against threats like logging, road building, livestock grazing, herbicide use, and mining.
