Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
1. Information You Provide
We collect information you voluntarily provide when you contact us or submit information on behalf of a member business. This may include business details, contact names, email addresses, and the contents of your communications.
We require member information only from businesses participating in our membership program, not from visitors browsing our website. We use this information to administer memberships, communicate with businesses, and publish business listings or events where intended for publication.
Visitors cannot create website accounts or publish content directly. Submitted listings, events, and other content are managed by an administrator.
2. Website Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website and to improve its performance, usability, and content.
Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages viewed, cookie identifiers, browser and device details, and approximate geographic location. Google Analytics 4 uses IP addresses to determine approximate location but does not log or store individual IP addresses.
Google processes this information as our analytics service provider. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy.
3. Calendar Content From Other Websites
Our website displays calendar information and links sourced from other websites. We sanitize imported content before displaying it and do not collect personal information through this calendar-syndication process.
Links to the original event pages take you to third-party websites, which have their own privacy policies.
4. How We Share Information
We do not bundle information for sale or sell, rent, or trade member information or analytics data.
Business listings and event information submitted for publication may appear publicly on our website. Information may also be processed by service providers that support our website and operations, such as Google Analytics.
5. Privacy Controls and Your Choices
Global Privacy Control
Our website honors Global Privacy Control (GPC). When your browser sends a GPC signal, we automatically prevent Google Analytics scripts, tags, and tracking pixels from loading. No Google Analytics tracking requests are sent from your browser during those visits. You do not need to submit a separate opt-out request.
Browser Settings and Privacy Tools
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies can limit tracking, but does not necessarily prevent all forms of data collection.
The following tools can help limit tracking on our website and elsewhere:
- Brave Browser: A browser with built-in tracking protection and support for GPC.
- uBlock Origin Lite: A browser extension that blocks many advertising and tracking requests.
- Privacy Badger: An Electronic Frontier Foundation browser extension that blocks many third-party trackers and sends the GPC signal.
- Global Privacy Control: Information about GPC and browsers and extensions that support it.
- Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on: Google’s extension for opting out of supported Google Analytics tracking.
These third-party tools have their own privacy policies, browser compatibility requirements, and settings. Their effectiveness varies by website and configuration.
6. External Links
Our website links to other websites. Those websites have their own privacy policies and practices.
